| The QUIETPRO In-Ear Headset connects to the Control Unit and is fit to each ear. Through the In-Ear Headset, QUIETPRO picks up the users’ voice from within their ear canal using a miniature microphone in each earpiece. The microphone listens to the voice signal through one of the sound tubes in base of the earpiece through a hole through the ear tip. This approach eliminates the pick-up of ambient sounds commonly experienced with external boom microphones that can affect clear two-way communication. This also allows workers and soldiers to communicate in sensitive environments and when wearing head protective equipment (e.g. ballistic helmets, hard hats, respirators, NBC / HAZMAT suits, welding shields). |
