AR/VR Firesim

UL Listed Kitchen Fire Suppression System
ARVR simulator for fire extinguisher training is a virtual or augmented reality-based system designed to help individuals practice fire safety and fire extinguisher use in a controlled and realistic environment. These simulators provide an immersive training experience that mimics real-life fire situations without the risks associated with live-fire training. They are commonly used in industries such as firefighting, industrial safety, construction, and corporate training.
Realistic Fire Scenarios:
- Realistic Fire Scenarios
- The simulator generates realistic fire environments, such as a kitchen fire, electrical fire, or chemical fire, that users can interact with.
- It uses 3D graphics and physics simulations to model the behavior of fire, including smoke, heat, and spreading flames.
Interactive Training:
- Users can virtually practice the correct use of fire extinguishers, including identifying the right type of extinguisher (water, CO2, foam, powder) for the fire.
- The simulation allows users to physically "point" and "squeeze" to simulate the act of discharging a fire extinguisher, often using VR controllers or AR markers.
Virtual Reality (VR) Mode:
- In VR simulators, users wear a VR headset and are fully immersed in a virtual training environment. These simulators can simulate various types of fires in different locations (e.g., offices, kitchens, warehouses).
- VR simulators often include motion-tracking controllers that mimic the actions of holding and using a fire extinguisher with the help of AR and hardware as supporting software.
Feedback and Evaluation:
- The simulator can track how effectively the user uses the fire extinguisher, such as ensuring the correct distance from the fire, proper aim at the base of the fire, and continuous operation of the extinguisher.
- After the exercise, the system can provide performance feedback, explaining what was done right or wrong, and offering improvement suggestions.
Safety Protocols:
- The simulator can include safety training, such as reminding users about the PASS technique for using a fire extinguisher (Pull the pin, Aim at the base of the fire, Squeeze the handle, and Sweep from side to side).
- It can also teach users how to respond in various fire situations, including evacuating the area and calling for help.
